Tropical garden with cordylines, philodendron xanadu and palms in Queensland

A beautiful tropical garden in Agnes Water, Queensland, Australia. Philodendron Xanadu is the lush green foliage plant in the front, alternated by beautiful coloured Cordylines (the taller plants with red & purple foliage). A group of clumping palms forms the backdrop to this garden.

A closeup of the front row can be seen below, with Philodendron Xanadu providing a lush green backdrop for the colourful ground cover in front of it, which is 'Mozes in a Cradle' (Rhoeo spathacea).

Tropical Garden, Spider Plant, Pentas, Gingers
A stunning tropical garden with impressive flower display by Pink Pentas (with the pink flowers). A tree stump gives the Madagascar Jasmine (Stephanotis floribunda) something to climb on and adds an interesting touch to the garden corner. Spider Plants (Chlorophytum comosum) are a fantastic border plant and ground cover. (in the bottom corner with stripey green and white foliage.
Behind the Pentas you can see the Red Edged dragon Tree (Dracaena marginata) providing height and structure to the Pentas shrub which can be quite rambling otherwise. The Spiral Ginger (Costus pictus) is a fantastic tropical foliage plant and is the backdrop of this garden, in the top right hand corner.
In front of the Spiral Ginger (Costus pictus) there is a stunning Cordyline which, in time, will poke its colourful out above the Ginger foliage. A cute dwarf palm, the Bottle Palm (Hyophorbe lagenicaulis) can be seen next to the Cordyline, and Rhoeo spathacea, 'Mozes in a Cradle', with its purple foliage has been grown as ground cover on the right hand side of the photo.
Ponytail Palms Bromeliad Tropical Garden
Beautiful Ponytail Palms (Beaucarnea sp) are framed by Gardenia florida in the bottom corner, which will be covered in fragrant white flowers in Spring and Summer. A beautiful Bromeliad provides great colour and amazing foliage, and Rhoeo spathacea, 'Mozes in a Cradle' acts as a very colourful ground cover (with the purple foliage, right hand side).
