Backyard Plant Nurseries
My passion is buying baby plants and watching them grow into mature plants for my backyard garden. The benefit which I enjoy from ordering plants online is buying them young rather than paying more for full grown specimens.
I wanted to upgrade my plant nursery (which use to be the workbench in my shed) so I decided to buy a small greenhouse for my backyard. I ordered online, as usual, and when the product arrived it was very easy to assemble. It is made from sturdy plastic but it is still lightweight and maneuverable (must be empty). The dimensions are 2m wide x 3m long x 2m high.
These modern, family-friendly greenhouses are much more adaptable, and affordable, for the novice than the typical steel and glass structures of the last century. The transparent plastic cover, with a roll-up door panel, is waterproof and allows the sunlight to travel through. This gives my baby plants light but also gives them protection from winds, birds, and pests. Also, as some of you may have heard me say before, one of the delights of having your own plant nursery is opening the door to the fresh smell of sun-warmed potting mix, plants, and floral.
