Note that we still have some of our stunning Red Crownshaft Palms (Areca vestiaria ‘Red Form’) which are the most amazing palm currently available. They have more stunning colouring to the crownshafts and foliage than the Lipstick Palm – in fact, you need to wait around 7 years to see any colour at all on the Lipstick Palm (if it survives that long) and our Red Crownshaft Palm seedlings are ALREADY showing unbelievable colour! We are sending right up to Christmas this year – last posting day being the 20th of December. We will not send on Monday the 27th, but will resume posting on Tuesday the 5th of January in the New Year, 2011! (Monday the 4th is a public holiday). We will NOT post orders in South Australia or the Northern Territory that week, as they need the full week to get to the destination.
Our tropical plants have been battered by some pretty impressive rains this week – 70mm last night alone. The dams are filled up, the tanks are full and we are ready for summer! We have once again released some of our own tropical plants, much bigger than usual, and I will be adding them to the website in the next few days. Keep an eye out for big Fakey Palms, Black Bean Trees, Mexican Flame Trees (Calliandra tweedii), and even a couple of Fried Egg Plants! (Metrosideros Fiji).
