Lilly Pilly (Syzygium smithii) large plants

Ask a question about this product

Lilly Pillies have many uses, guaranteed to suit a spot in your garden, as a 'neighbours-be-gone' hedge, or in a lovely pot on the veranda or patio. Lilly Pilly originates in warm-temperate forests from the Northern Territory south to the far-eastern tip of Victoria and requires relatively moist soil for rapid growth while young, but can handle drought situations once established. It's an evergreen tree so they are guaranteed to offer beautiful appearance all year round.

They will have beautifully fragrant white flowers in late spring, and these are followed by fruits, mostly deep purple.

If left without pruning, Lilly Pillies will grow into upright-oval trees, maintaining the lower branches, growing up to a maximum 15 meters tall. They can also be trimmed into dense hedges that can be maintained to 4 m tall and 2-3 m broad. With time you'll have a lovely elegant 5-6m hedge!

Common names: Lilly Pilly, Riberry

Supplied as: plants, will be trimmed back before sending. 200mm pots (sent bareroot). Not for NT
