Cluster Palm (Ptychosperma microcarpum)

This is a fairly small palm, only growing up to 5m tall, with beautiful bright green feathery foliage, similar to the Foxtail Palm. Its overall appearance is very similar to the MacArthur Palm which is very popular for use in landscaping. The PNG Cluster Palm can be solitary or clustering, and is suitable as indoor palm, as well as outdoors in the garden.

The PNG Cluster Palm grows well in both shade and full sun, and is fairly tolerant of low light conditions. Keep this palm moist at all times, select a rich soil mix with added organic matter & compost, and fertilise regularly with slow release fertiliser. Bears black fruits.
Very easy and fast growing!
