The Macarthur Palm ( Cluster Palm,Hurricane Palm ) is a beautiful and elegant palm . Native of North Queensland it thrives on neglect when grown in the tropics.Should be grown indoors in containers in sub tropical areas. It can grow to nine metres but averages heights of 3-6 metres. Once matured it has multiple slender trunks topped by feather shaped fronds. Should be planted full sun to part shade will grow in most soil types but prefers well drained soil. As a tropical plant it benefits from watering during dry spells. Supplied as : Plants 5-15 cms tall. Thank you for visiting national Tropical Plant Nursery. |
