Dwarf Lilly Pilly (Syzygium australe 'Dwarf')The Dwarf Lilly Pilly (Syzygium australe 'Dwarf') is an attractive ‘dwarf’ species of Lilly Pilly which grows from 1m to 1.5m tall. This small shrub's cream coloured flowers accent its shiny green foliage and are a favourite plant for hedging. This Lilly Pilly also grows great in gardens, plant boxes, or potted on the patio. They like a full sun position, regular watering and are drought tolerant once established. This plant is popular as topiary but pruning is not necessary unless some clipping is preferred to maintain the shape and size.

We shape ours with a little clipping to give the Dwarf Lilly Pilly a bushy globe shape. We are trying the same with a dwarf we have potted for the patio and so far the results are positive. Thanks for the suggestion.
