Beautiful, graceful palm. Native to Australia's coast. Trunks are pale gray, 20cm in diameter. Frons are silvery white underneath and the Alexander Palms grows to aprox 15m tall. Trunk is slightly bulbous.

The Alexander Palm is a self cleaning palm which means fronds fall off automatically when dead, there is no need to get them off yourself. They grow to around 3m long.

the Alexander Palm crown shaft is green and flowers are cream. Good for frost free conditions. Needs full sun. Shallow root systems - mulch well to keep the moisture and nutrient where it's needed and to protect again cold & heat. Mulch also aids water penetration. Water regularly for best growth.
