Adenium arabicum is famous for its outstanding caudex formation (swollen roots & stem bases). It produces a very fat and squat trunk and stem bases are also swollen. It produces a caudex much quicker than others Adeniums. Flowers are pink, and it grows to 4m in natural habitat, although usually much smaller in cultivation. Like other Adeniums, Adenium arabicum is extremely drought tolerant. It will not need additional watering once it has established itself. It is best grown in full sun to part shade in a warm spot. Choose a very well draining potting mix, or buy a specific cacti mix.
